Alden has been producing Made in USA footwear for well over a century now. An icon of American footwear, Alden was founded in 1884 by Charles H Alden in Massachusetts and remains there to this day. 

The 990 Plain Toe Blucher from Alden is one of their most popular and iconic styles. This classic derby style shoe is made from shell cordovan leather sourced from the infamous Horween Leather Co Tannery in Chicago and features a fully goodyear welted leather sole. A versatile and beautifully constructed shoe that will be sure to last a lifetime, getting better with age. 

The Alden Plain Toe Blucher is built on the Barrie last, with a D width fitting. The Barrie Last tends to run large so we suggest taking a half or full size down from your usual shoe size.
