Anatomica's Donshula Parka draws inspiration from vintage sideline outerwear worn by sports coaches and spectators across the United States from the 1930s-1950s. These coats were designed with practicality in mind, built to provide warmth & protection during long hours on the touchline. 

Named after Don Shula, one of the most iconic figures in American football history, Anatomica draw a clear line to classic sporting styles here. Cut in Japan from Anatomica’s specially developed ‘Beach Cloth’, it uses a distinctive heavyweight fabric originally seen in early 20th-century workwear, recognised for its salt-and-pepper flecked appearance and durability.

Woven in Japan with a cotton base and a wool face, the fabric offers both structure and warmth, making it ideally suited to outerwear. The Donshula from Anatomica is a mid-length parka and cut in a relaxed silhouette for ease of wear. Two large front slash pockets adds everyday functionality, while original dot buttons, stamped with an ‘A’, provide a subtle nod to the brand’s attention to detail.
