Soundman Lex Smock Navy

Japanese brand Soundman have created a name for themselves creating unique clothing with a classical twist. Their latest collection for SS25 is no different as the Lex Smock demonstrates. 

The Lex Smock Jacket from Soundman takes inspiration from 1950's British Military Army Cadet Smocks & Mountain Smocks of the same era. These were usually issued in the post-war period and were introduced for their wind resistant properties and the sleeves usually had elasticated cuffs to keep out wind too. 

The Lex is a modern take on this jacket and has been cut from a single layer diamond pattern cotton dobby cloth, making the smock ideal for layering. It features two lower pockets with button flap closure and a large central chest pocket with zip closure. A drawstring waist has been paired with a drawstring hood and high funnel 1/4 zip front.
